Junior Marker

Key Responsibilities: Carry out marking and layout of castings using surface plates, V-blocks, angle plates, height gauges and other marking tools. Mark machining lines, centres, hole positions and reference datums as per engineering drawings. Check machining allowance and identify casting shifts, distortion or short allowance. Read and understand basic engineering drawings and GD&T. Maintain marking instruments and ensure proper housekeeping. Coordinate with machining operators and communicate marking references accurately. Follow PPE, safety procedures and safe handling practices for heavy castings.
