About the role
You are invited to attend a Walk-In interview on 30 May 2026 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM for the position of Trainee Test Engineer (Game Tester) at 6th Floor, B Wing, Smartworks Purva Summit, White Fields Road, Hi-Tech City, Madhapur, Hyderabad. This is a contractual role with 15 openings available. Role Overview: As a Trainee Test Engineer (Game Tester), your main responsibilities will include: - Conducting thorough testing of game features, functionality, and performance across Mobile, PC, and console platforms. - Executing test cases and test plans according to project deadlines. - Identifying defects, visual glitches, gameplay bugs, and performance issues in multiple game genres. - Documenting and tracking bugs using designated bug tracking tools with detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, severity levels, and supporting screenshots/videos. - Testing games across different devices and platforms, including iOS/Android smartphones, PC (Windows/Mac), and console environments. - Validating AR/VR functionality where applicable and ensuring game performance meets quality standards. - Contributing to QA process improvements by providing feedback and suggestions and working in rotational/night shifts as per US/UK client hours. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct game testing and quality assurance. - Report and document bugs effectively. - Test games across various platforms and devices. - Improve processes and collaborate with the team. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency with smartphones and AR/VR technology. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. - Basic understanding of software testing. - Flexibility to work night/rotational shifts. Please note that this position offers a CTC of 1.90 LPA along with Night Shift Allowance. The initial contract duration is 1 month with a possibility of extension. Salary revision is scheduled at 6 months.
