Data Analyst

Role Overview: The Data Analyst role is ideal for professionals who possess a solid background in data analytics, reporting, and data engineering. Your primary focus will be to support data preparation, analysis, dashboard development, and reporting activities aimed at assisting organizations in making data-driven decisions. You will collaborate closely with senior team members, business stakeholders, and delivery teams to develop analytical solutions, prepare datasets, and create meaningful visualizations and reports. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency in data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities to ensure data quality and consistency. - Development and maintenance of dashboards and reports utilizing BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. - Support in the development and upkeep of data pipelines and ETL workflows under the guidance of senior team members. - Expertise in handling structured and semi-structured datasets from various business sources. - Conduct data analysis to recognize trends, patterns, and business insights. - Collaboration with business users and analytics teams to comprehend reporting and analytics requirements. - Assistance throughout the analytics lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. - Preparation of technical and functional documentation related to reports, dashboards, and data models. - Troubleshooting data and reporting issues, along with supporting optimization activities. - Continuous learning and upskilling in analytics, BI, and emerging data technologies. - Contribution to internal capability building, reusable assets, and best practices. Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or BI development. - Good understanding of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL concepts. - Proficiency in SQL, data transformation, and any data engineering/ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SSIS, Alteryx, Informatica, KNIME, or similar tools. - Experience in dashboard and report development using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. - Ability to design executive-grade dashboards adhering to strong UI and UX principles. - Knowledge of Figma or similar design tools is an added advantage. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization. - Capability to work independently and manage delivery responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills. - Experience in consulting or client-facing environments. - Willingness to travel onsite on short notice based on project and client requirements.
