Role: Firmware Lead / Senior Firmware Engineer We're seeking a firmware expert to lead development and execution of embedded systems for our EV charging products. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work on production-grade firmware, manage a growing team, and collaborate across hardware, software, and mobile domains. Key Responsibilities · Architect, design, and develop bare-metal and RTOS-based firmware for EV chargers. · Analyze specifications, develop test plans, and integrate firmware for optimal system performance. · Lead internal and external resources; assign tasks and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. · Collaborate with mobile app (iOS/Android) and backend software teams for seamless system integration. · Drive hiring, coaching, and career development of firmware team members. · Plan and manage R&D resources, timelines, and budgets. · Maintain code quality, ensure compliance with software standards, and oversee change requests. · Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. · Debug and validate firmware on hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and related tools. · Qualifications & Technical Skills · B.E./M.E. in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related fields. · 4–8 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development. · Strong in Embedded C/C++, with RTOS expertise. · Experience on ARM Cortex-M (M0/M3/M4/M7), STM32, NXP, TI-DSP. · Protocols: CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, RS485. · Familiar with Git, IDEs for debugging, and embedded testing workflows. · Capable of reading schematics and working with cross-functional hardware/software teams.
