About the role
As a Senior Engineering Manager AI-Accelerated Software Delivery, your primary responsibility is to deliver software end-to-end at high velocity and quality using Claude Code. You will be tasked with multiplying team output by establishing standards, reusable frameworks, and enablement that scale AI-accelerated delivery. Additionally, your role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading engineers and cross-functional contributors. Key Responsibilities: - Own and deliver work end-to-end across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements and software architecture through implementation, testing, and release. - Utilize Claude Code as a core part of your daily workflow to accelerate delivery without compromising quality in various work types such as platform/product engineering, client implementations, business analysis, QA/test automation, and project/product management. - Make independent software architecture and system-design decisions, scope ambiguous problems, and drive them to completion. - Establish and document reusable standards, playbooks, workflows, and internal tooling for AI-accelerated development, enabling others to readily adopt best practices. - Mentor, coach, and upskill engineers, analysts, QA, and project managers to achieve faster, higher-quality outcomes and promote the adoption of AI-assisted development practices. - Raise the bar for engineering quality, software architecture, and best practices through code review and technical leadership. - Apply critical thinking and technical judgment to challenge assumptions, identify better approaches, and improve developer productivity and delivery throughput. - Share techniques, learning, and measurable outcomes across the organization to enhance team-wide productivity. Qualifications: - Required: Hands-on, production experience with Claude Code, demonstrating materially faster delivery at high quality across multiple task types. - 8+ years of experience in building and shipping production software, including roles as a Senior/Staff Engineer, Technical Lead, and/or Engineering Manager. - 8+ years of work experience with Full-Stack Development. - 6+ years of work experience with Python (Programming Language). - 4+ years of work experience with Claude Code Subagents. - Strong software architecture and system-design expertise, with the ability to work independently and contribute across the delivery lifecycle. - Proven track record of improving engineering velocity, developer productivity, and delivery quality. - Experience in establishing engineering best practices, mentoring, coaching, or managing cross-functional teams. - Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, CI/CD, and a commitment to high-quality software.
