About the role
As an experienced candidate with 6-10 years of experience, you must have prior hands-on exposure to Aveva PI, even if at a junior or basic administrator/support level. Your ability should extend beyond basic PI support tasks to directly resolving issues, not just coordinating tickets or administrative routing. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple support items while ensuring follow-through and accountability. Clear communication skills are a must to effectively collaborate with users, technical teams, and external support providers. Key Responsibilities: - Provide hands-on Level 1 administration and first-line technical support for Aveva PI systems. - Perform basic troubleshooting and issue triage for PI-related incidents, resolving routine issues directly and escalating when deeper expertise is needed. - Support user access administration, including access requests, security group coordination, application-level access updates, and user validation/testing. - Create, track, and follow up on Service Now tickets to actively drive support requests through resolution. - Coordinate and orchestrate support activities across teams to close requests, resolve blockers, and maintain momentum on open items. - Perform routine administrative and support tasks across Acronis and Adept, including user support, basic issue review, and follow-up with relevant teams. - Maintain clear communication with end users and stakeholders regarding issue status, next steps, and resolution progress. - Escalate complex technical issues when necessary, but only after appropriate initial investigation and technical support efforts have been made. Qualification Required: - Prior hands-on exposure to Aveva PI. - General IT/OT support knowledge. - Experience in a ticket-driven support environment. - Strong organizational and communication skills.
