The Times Group IT (TGIT) function plays a crucial role in supporting the organization's technological infrastructure and driving digital transformation initiatives. By maintaining IT systems, automating office processes, and implementing recent technologies, TGIT enables operational efficiency, enhances productivity, and fosters innovation across the organization. About the Position TGIT_BI Analyst Areas of Responsibility Domain & Industry vertical requirements : Business Intelligence Data Warehousing Dashboarding Business and Financial Reporting ETL Technical Requirements : Must Have: Power BI Power BI reporting server Power Apps . Power automate Creation of relationships between data, created calculated columns and measures using DAX Query and functions Experience in creating different visualizations like Line, Bar, Histograms, Scatter Plot, Waterfall Chart, Bullet Graph, Heat maps, treemaps, etc creating Calculations, Advanced Calculations, Parameters, and Filter Context Cascading filters for preparing Dashboards and worksheets efficiently in Power BI SQL Server SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) . MongoDB or any other Comparative NoSQL database Datawarehouse, Data Lake concepts Data security and privacy architecture understanding OLAP & OLTP Ability to handle complex problems with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills MS Azure (Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Stream Analytics) Tableau knowledge Power automate knowledge Good to have: Understanding of R/Python algorithms for data modelling SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Experience working with platform infrastructure AWS/Azure/GCP cloud (RDS, S3, SageMaker, Quicksight) GCP(Bigquery, AutoML, Firebase, Looker Data Studio) Experience with Snowflake/Databricks Experience in writing software in one or more languages, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, React, Vue, or Angular, Node Working knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), services, and API models (e.g., Swagger, OpenAPI) . Infrastructure: storage, compute, networking Experience with web standards (e.g., REST APIs, web security mechanisms) Awareness on Code Repositories - Bitbucket, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit . Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles Educational Qualifications Required B. Tech / M.Tech / Equivalent Relevant Experience At least 6-8 years of experience in information technology with 5-7 years working on Data analytics, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Sciences, forecasting, and analytical models in a lead position with knowledge of the full stack and a focus on data visualization and front-end technologies. The ideal candidate would have led a Business Intelligence team with some exposure to predictive/prescriptive data analytics. Knowledge of data-related tasks like extraction, transformation, and cleansing is required. He/she should be able to understand business aspects and be able to drive insights from data for the business.
