About the role
About the Role: We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) who thrives at the intersection of complex payment architecture, system integrations, and product execution. This is not a purely functional BA or coordination role. You will be hands-on with system workflows, API specs, sequence diagrams, and data contracts, acting as the core bridge between product vision and engineering execution for scalable fintech platforms. Key Responsibilities: Technical Solutioning & API Design: Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, writing API contracts, request/response data fields, and microservice workflows. System Workflows & Diagrams: Create structured flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data models for payment processing, settlement, reconciliation, and beneficiary validation. Sprint & Product Execution: Write developer-ready user stories with precise acceptance criteria; participate actively in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and UAT cycles. Regulatory Encoding: Partner with compliance and ops to encode RBI regulatory guidelines, PCI-DSS requirements, and privacy frameworks directly into automated product logic. Engineering Collaboration: Dive deep with backend engineers, platform teams, and external partners to resolve complex technical bottlenecks and ensure zero-defect releases. What are we looking for: Core Technical Depth: Hands-on experience with API tooling (Postman, Bruno, Swagger), flowcharting tools (Draw.io, Lucidchart), and tracking platforms (Jira, Confluence). Payment Domain Mastery: Direct exposure to Indian payment rails (UPI, AutoPay, Cards, Net Banking, IMPS/NEFT, BBPS, or Open Banking APIs). Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to break down complex backend systems, explain data attributes, and build end-to-end implementation notes independently. Education: Engineering degree (B.Tech/BE/BCA); an MBA or post-graduate degree is a strong plus. Location: Andheri West, Mumbai .
