About the role

As an experienced professional in Microsoft Dynamics NAV support and administration, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support and administration of the existing Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 ERP environment. Your role will involve managing day-to-day operations of the NAV system, troubleshooting and resolving NAV errors, performance issues, and integration problems, and ensuring proper setup of user accounts and access levels consistent with business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day operations of the Dynamics NAV 2009 system, including adding users, configuring security roles and permissions, and handling user provisioning and de-provisioning. - Serve as the primary contact for NAV-related support during India business hours and U.S. hours, diagnosing and resolving NAV errors, performance issues, and integration problems. - Perform routine SQL Server maintenance tasks related to NAV 2009, including monitoring database health, verifying backups, and ensuring data integrity. - Assist with analyzing SQL logs to identify root causes of system issues and contribute to process manuals or user guides. - Work effectively with both the local India team and the remote U.S. team to stay aligned with ongoing projects. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and hands-on ERP experience). - Approximately 2+ years of experience in a Microsoft Dynamics NAV support, administration, or functional analyst role. - Basic-to-intermediate proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing ERP issues and interpreting error messages. - Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience with Dynamics NAV 2009 (or nearby versions such as 2013/2015) is highly desirable. - Familiarity with NAV modules (finance, inventory, sales/purchasing) is important. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services and DevOps practices is advantageous for modernizing and integrating NAV data with cloud-based systems. Note: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV Certified Professional or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant are considered a plus.
