About the role
Role Overview: As an AI/ML Engineer for the Email Systems with a focus on open-source and NLP technologies, your role involves designing, building, and enhancing an intelligent email platform. You will be applying Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques to improve email intelligence, including classification, prioritization, automation, and security. Your contributions will help evolve the platform into a scalable and intelligent communication system. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deploy ML models for email classification, prioritization, auto-replies, and smart suggestions. - Build NLP pipelines using text embedding, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and semantic similarity models to improve contextual understanding of email threads. - Work with open-source tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and email servers such as Postfix and Dovecot. Customize and contribute to open-source components. - Integrate ML models into live email workflows, design scalable architectures, and deploy models via APIs in containerized environments. - Implement ML-based phishing and fraud detection systems to ensure security and compliance with Indian IT and data privacy regulations. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. - Preferred qualifications include a Masters degree or specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
