About the role
Embedded Systems Engineer IoT & Edge AI Location : Gurgaon, India (On-site) Experience : 1 3 Years Role Overview : We are seeking a highly motivated Embedded Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in IoT devices, firmware development, PCB design, and Edge AI applications. The ideal candidate will work on building production-grade embedded products, integrating hardware, firmware, cloud communication, and real-world deployment requirements. This role involves end-to-end ownership of embedded systems from hardware interfacing and firmware development to field deployment and OTA updates. Key Responsibilities : Design, develop, and deploy embedded systems using ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and related platforms Develop modular and scalable firmware using Embedded C/C++, Python, and Embedded Linux Interface and integrate peripherals using I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO protocols Work with sensors, cameras (MIPI CSI), motors, LTE modems, and power systems including solar charging Implement secure cloud communication using REST APIs and token-based authentication Develop and maintain OTA firmware update mechanisms with version control and rollback support Perform PCB design, schematic development, BOM preparation, and support hardware bring up Implement Edge AI / Image Processing pipelines for data preprocessing and optimization on device Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, mobile, backend, and product teams Conduct debugging, testing, and validation using oscilloscopes, serial debuggers, and logs Take ownership of deployed field devices and support performance optimization and reliability Required Skills & Qualifications : Education B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field Strong academic background with emphasis on Digital Electronics, Analog Circuits, and Logic Design Technical Skills Embedded Systems & Firmware Development Programming: Embedded C, C++, Python Platforms: ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Arduino Tools: EasyEDA, KiCad, Git Protocols: I2C, SPI, UART IoT & Connectivity: BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE (PPP/ECM) Operating Systems: Embedded Linux Debugging Tools: Oscilloscope, Serial Debugger PCB Design & Product Development Lifecycle Preferred / Bonus Skills Experience with Edge AI or ML model deployment on embedded devices Familiarity with Flask, Android integration, or full-stack IoT pipelines Experience with healthcare, wearable, or agricultural IoT products Exposure to patents, research papers, or IEEE publications Leadership experience in technical or professional societies What Makes You a Great Fit Proven experience delivering production-ready embedded devices Strong problem-solving mindset with ownership of end-to-end systems Ability to work independently in fast-paced, real-world environments Passion for building impactful technology in IoT, healthcare, or agritech Why Join Us Work on real-world, deployed embedded products Opportunity to own features from concept to production Collaborative and innovation-driven engineering culture Exposure to cutting-edge IoT, Edge AI, and hardware systems
