Senior Engineer (E2) - COE for Power Electronics

Preferred Expertise & Responsibilities: Candidates with exposure to the following areas will be given preference: Power Electronics Design & Development: System engineering, testing, and commissioning of MW-range Thyristor/IGBT-based Power Electronics Converters. Application in Industrial, Renewable Energy, and Electric Power Grid sectors. Embedded Software Development: Application software development using embedded tools like Code Composer Studio. Modeling & Simulation: Simulation, modeling, and code generation using MATLAB/Simulink or similar software for power electronics systems. Manufacturing Documentation: Generation of manufacturing documents for Power Electronics Converter systems. Certification & Compliance: Exposure to EMC agency certification processes such as UL or equivalent. Testing & Validation: Prototyping, testing, and validating power electronic circuits and systems as per industry standards. Desirable Skills: Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage: Handling Power Electronics-based Projects for: PCU (Solar Power Conditioning Unit) PCS (Power Conversion Systems) for BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) Experience in Power Electronics-based Systems such as: MV Variable Frequency Drives (Current Source/Voltage Source Inverters) HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) Systems STATCOM (Static Synchronous Compensator) Key Competencies: Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive projects from execution to delivery. In-depth knowledge of high-power inverters based on IGBT/Thyristor technology. Passion for excellence and continuous professional growth.
