Pioneer Talent Program - AI Application Engineer

Bachelor’s or Master’s de gree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field

0–3 years of software engineering, AI engineering, or relevant internship/project experience

Strong programming fundamentals in Java or Python, TypeScript, or backend development is a plus

Good software engineering judgment, including APIs, debugging, system design, and data handling

Strong curiosity about LLMs, AI agents, tool use, retrieval, evaluation, and production AI systems

Ability to learn new domains quickly and work effectively in ambiguous environments

Ability to read, understand, and improve AI-generated code, or learn to do so very quickly

Good communication skills and the ability to connect technical work to business value

Bonus Points

• Personal projects, hackathons, or internships involving LLM apps, AI agents, RAG, automation, or internal tools

• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, vector databases, agent frameworks, or orchestration tools

• Experience with backend systems, cloud environments, observability, or production support

• Exposure to fintech, crypto, customer support systems, operations workflows, or risk/compliance processe s
