Validation of EDA tools (MBISTArchitect, etc.) designed by us. Creating a test plan and test cases for the tool under validation Running tests on the tool as per the test plan and also running regression tests on the tool under validation Analyzing defects in the tool and verification of the tool after bugs have been fixed. 2-3 years experience in digital design, EDA tool validation and working level knowledge of UNIX. Experience of working on Verilog and/ or VHDL is desirable Experience of working on DFT tools is desirable Knowledge of scripts like C-shell script, PERL and AWK will be an advantage Experience in the use of simulation/ synthesis tools and CVS/ ClearQuest will be an advantage.
