About the role
As an AI Scientist / Computational Biologist at Biolligence, you will be responsible for developing machine learning and deep learning models for biological and healthcare datasets. You will also work on building and analyzing knowledge graphs that integrate drugs, genes, diseases, pathways, and clinical data. Additionally, you will apply NLP/LLMs to biomedical literature, clinical trials, and scientific databases. Your role will involve working with multimodal biological data, including omics, real-world data, and public biomedical resources. Collaboration with founders, scientists, and industry partners will be a key aspect of your work. Key Responsibilities: - Develop machine learning and deep learning models for biological and healthcare datasets - Build and analyze knowledge graphs integrating drugs, genes, diseases, pathways, and clinical data - Apply NLP/LLMs to biomedical literature, clinical trials, and scientific databases - Work with multimodal biological data including omics, real-world data, and public biomedical resources - Collaborate closely with founders, scientists, and industry partners Qualifications Required: - MSc/PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field - Strong Python skills (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) - Experience with machine learning, graph learning, knowledge graphs, or LLMs - Familiarity with biological databases such as DrugBank, PharmGKB, ChEMBL, Hetionet, CTD, or ClinicalTrials.gov - Passion for applying AI to solve real-world healthcare challenges Nice to Have: - Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) - Biomedical NLP - Drug discovery, toxicity prediction, or clinical informatics experience - Startup mindset and entrepreneurial spirit Biolligence offers you the opportunity to work directly with founders and industry experts, help shape next-generation AI for life sciences, experience an adaptable working environment, and grow with a rapidly expanding AI-biology startup.
