In this role, you will join a dedicated team working on a bespoke, cloud-based Nuclear Material Accounting & Control (NMAC) platform for a major civil-nuclear operator. This mission-critical system, built on Microsoft .NET, is responsible for tracking nuclear material and generating statutory reports for the national nuclear regulator and the IAEA. As a leader of the development team, you will be responsible for building the NMAC application on .NET, ensuring technical delivery, code quality, and secure-engineering practices. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development team, taking ownership of technical delivery, code quality, and secure-coding standards. - Translate architecture into well-structured, maintainable C#/.NET code, and provide code reviews and mentorship. - Drive continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), configuration management, and engineering best practices on Azure. - Manage the support pod post-go-live, leading defect resolution and system stabilization efforts. - Contribute to design, estimation, and the handover of source code. Qualifications: - Possess 8+ years of experience in building enterprise web applications, including team and technical leadership roles. - Deep proficiency in C# / .NET (specifically ASP.NET Core) and familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Blazor. - Strong understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP), APIs/integration, SQL Server, and Azure CI/CD. - Demonstrated track record of delivering projects to fixed milestones and quality standards. Nice to have: - Experience with regulated, safety-critical, or financial systems. - Knowledge of nuclear/safeguards domain and experience with SAP integration. - Previous experience in leading distributed teams.
