Backend Engineer Java

As a Java Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience, you will be responsible for the following: Role Overview: You will be joining a dynamic team and utilizing your strong background in Java backend development, specifically with Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, and API integrations. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to work on a night shift schedule. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for backend systems developed using Java and Spring Boot. - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. - Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, including software bugs and configuration issues. - Work closely with the Customer support team to resolve issues. - Debug, develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve development practices. Qualifications: - 2-3 years of professional experience in Java backend development. - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot. - Proficiency in SQL and NOSQL database design/management. - Experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging. - Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development. - Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Knowledge of microservices architecture. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
