About the role
Area(s) of responsibility Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance Selenium based automation frameworks using Java, aligned to QACoE standards Implement and maintain API automation solutions for REST services using Java based libraries Develop reusable automation components, utilities, and libraries for web and API testing Execute, debug, and maintain automated regression suites; analyze failures and improve script stability Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing initiatives Ensure adherence to automation best practices, coding standards, and framework governance Collaborate with functional QA, development, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery models Support test data preparation, defect analysis, and root cause identification related to automation failures Required Skills & Experience 610 years of experience in test automation for enterprise applications Strong hands on expertise in Java and Selenium WebDriver Proven experience in API automation (REST services) Solid experience in automation framework design, customization, and maintenance Strong understanding of OOP concepts, automation design patterns, and test architecture Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools Good to Have Experience with BDD frameworks, automation reporting, and execution dashboards Exposure to CI/CD tools and automation execution at scale Ability to mentor junior engineers on automation best practices Experience working in large QA CoE or client facing environments .
