About the role
Area(s) of responsibility Job Summary:
As an Ignition Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SCADA/HMI and MES solutions using Inductive Automation's Ignition platform and Sepasoft MES modules. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Ignition Gold Certification – Mandatory
Develop and maintain SCADA/HMI applications using Ignition.
Design and implement user interfaces using Perspective and Vision modules.
Configure and manage Alarm Notification , Reporting , and WebDev modules.
Integrate with PLCs and industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT).
Develop Python scripts and SQL queries for backend logic and data manipulation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with Ignition SCADA development.
Strong Python scripting and SQL database skills.
Experience with Sepasoft MES modules (OEE, Track & Trace).
Familiarity with industrial automation protocols and PLC integration.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
