Workday - Subcontractor

Area(s) of responsibility Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations for HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, and downstream applications.

Build and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio , EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and web services.

Develop and optimize Workday custom reports , advanced reports, matrix reports, and calculated fields to support business requirements.

Analyze existing eTime integrations and recommend modernization or retirement strategies.

Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Business, and Technical teams to gather requirements and provide integration solutions.

Troubleshoot integration issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.

Support end-to-end testing, UAT, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities.

Ensure data accuracy, security, compliance, and audit readiness across Workday integrations.

Create and maintain technical design documents, integration specifications, and support documentation.

Participate in integration architecture discussions and recommend best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

8–10 years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of Workday Integration experience .

Strong hands-on expertise in:

Workday Studio

Workday Reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite Reports)

Calculated Fields

EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)

Core Connectors

Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs)

XML, XSLT, JSON, and data transformation techniques

Experience integrating Workday with Payroll, Time Management, Benefits, and third-party applications.

Strong understanding of Workday HCM business processes and security concepts.

Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning of Workday integrations.

Ability to work independently and interact with business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Experience with PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface) .

Experience supporting Time & Attendance/eTime retirement or migration projects .

Knowledge of payroll integrations and downstream payroll systems.

Exposure to Workday Extend, Prism Analytics, or other Workday modules.

Workday Integration certification is a plus.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Relevant Workday certifications would be an added advantage.
