Intern - Network and Security

Bits & Byte IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Interns who are eager to gain practical industry experience in a professional work environment. The internship provides hands-on exposure to live projects, business operations, and cross-functional collaboration while helping interns develop technical and professional skills. Key Responsibilities Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Support the Network & Security team in monitoring and maintaining IT infrastructure. Assist in network documentation, inventory management, and technical reporting. Perform basic network diagnostics and resolve connectivity issues under supervision. Follow IT security policies and best practices. Perform other tasks assigned by the Reporting Manager. Educational Qualification Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunications, or a related discipline. Final-year students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Preferred Skills Basic knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, VLANs, Subnetting). Understanding of Firewalls, VPNs, and Network Security concepts. Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems. CCNA certification or equivalent knowledge will be an added advantage. Desired Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork. Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic environment.
