In this role, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of modernizing legacy enterprise workflows into a modern stack built o n Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Activiti BPMN process engine, PostgreSQL, and React 1 9.As the lead technical engineer, your role is to inspect, audit, refactor, and connect AI-generated backend microservices, Activiti process flows, and React frontend components into a seamless, high-performance solutio n.Key Responsibiliti esEnd-to-End Integrati on: Own the complete flow of Smart Dispute cases from the React frontend down to the Activiti process orchestration and Spring Boot microservice s.Activiti Workflow Engineeri ng: Design, implement, and maintain Activiti BPMN 2.0 process definitions, Java delegates, execution listeners, and timer/boundary event s.Microservices & API Developme nt: Maintain backend Spring Boot services (Rule Engine, Gateway proxies) and build RESTful endpoints communicating with external payment network APIs (e.g. Mastercom OAuth APIs ).React UI Engi ne: Maintain and extend dynamic React components and form rendering logic that parse Pega UI contracts to render user questionnaire s.AI Code Audit & Refactori ng: Review, debug, and manually refine AI-generated Java and React code, ensuring enterprise standards for security, clean architecture, and performanc e.Database & Quali ty: Write efficient PostgreSQL queries/stored procedures and implement automated unit/integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, React Testing Library ).Technical Skill RequirementsCore Backend & Workflow (Primary - 70 %)Java & Spring Bo ot: 5+ years of experience wit h Ja va (Java 17/21) an d Spring Boot 3 . x.Activiti / BPMN 2 .0: Strong experience wit h Activiti 7+ (or Camunda/Flowable) workflow engines, process variables, service tasks, and listener s.Databa se: Hands-on experience wit h PostgreS QL, Spring Data JPA, schema design, and stored procedure optimizatio n.REST & Securi ty: API design, OAuth 1.0a/2.0 authentication, JSON schema processing, and OpenAP I.Frontend & Integration (Secondary - 30 %)React & Modern JS: Strong working experience wit h React 18/ 19, Vite, JavaScript/TypeScript, and state managemen t.Dynamic UI Renderi ng: Ability to connect REST API payloads to dynamic React forms and UI component s.Code Quality & Minds etStrong Code Comprehensi on: Ability to quickly read, debug, and refactor code written by others or generated by AI tool s.Automated Testi ng: Experience writing unit tests for both Java (JUnit 5, Mockito) and Reac t.Nice-to-Have Skil lsUnderstanding of payment dispute processe s.Experience utilizing AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, LLM code-generation pipelines ).Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and local orchestration experienc e.
