About the role
As an experienced candidate working on WordPress multisite and PHP, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Designing and implementing applications/sites in WordPress - Leading and mentoring the technical team for all maintenance and new site tasks - Pro-actively addressing all technical issues and coordinating with India and UK teams - Participating in agile development process to ensure project deliverables are met, on time and of high quality - Managing and delivering projects from conceptualization, visualization to technology mapping and final execution - Monitoring development activities and reporting project progress - Understanding specification documents and performing coding as per the requirements and standards - Having good knowledge on SQL Queries and ability to create and execute moderate to complex queries Skills required for this role include: - Expertise in PHP, WordPress & other open source tools - Strong knowledge in JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, XML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS & working with third party web services - Knowledge on Ecommerce (Payment Gateways, Shopping Carts, SEO Friendliness Coding, etc.) - Proficiency in SQL and MySQL Qualifications required for this role: - Masters degree (B Tech)/MCA - Minimum 9-11 years of experience in PHP - Strong programming skills - Good aptitude and problem-solving skills Please note that the desired candidate profile should have a Masters degree (B Tech)/MCA, a minimum of 9-11 years of experience in PHP, strong programming skills, and good aptitude and problem-solving skills.
