About the role
As a technical specialist, you will work on larger and more complex assignments, expanding your knowledge into various disciplines and functional areas. You will stay current on departmental design guides, engineering codes, and B&V policies, applying them to your tasks. - You should have 7-9 years of experience in HVAC detailed design for projects such as Data Centers, Hydrogen projects, Power projects, Water & Waste Water plants, and Oil & Gas industry. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in HVAC design for Global projects. - Familiarity with international standards like ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, OSHA, ANSI, IMC, TIA, Uptime Institute, and local country standards is required. - Hands-on experience with software such as HAP, ELITE, CFD modeling, and other heat load calculations software is essential. - Experience in energy modeling using IES ve will be an added advantage. You will independently apply your knowledge, comply with quality programs, and support continuous improvement efforts. Your responsibilities will include preparing engineering deliverables, conducting research for equipment/material selection, managing engineering data, and performing engineering calculations. Additionally, you will: - Resolve problems within your area and provide guidance to others. - Coordinate with project leadership and team members on projects. - Interact with other disciplines on design work and understand client needs through regular communication. - Share knowledge of the latest technology and processes. - Assist with performance management, recognition, and mentoring entry-level professionals and interns as your skills develop. You should have a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 1 year of related work experience. All selected applicants must complete pre-employment requirements such as background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle records searches as per regulations.
