Sr Consultant - IT

Looking for Sr Consultant Network Expert and hands on Networking support inclusive of architectural, design, installation, configuration, and ongoing change support for network solutions across various BBOX product and service offerings. Work in partnership within operations and across various levels and departments of the organization to assist in planning, designing, migrating, and troubleshooting client installation activities.

Responsibilities

• Hardware network solution deployments spanning geographical separation.

• Prepare documentation for internal and external clients detailing system/ Network designs and configuration of deployed solutions.

• Handling Network related issues, handling LAN/ WAN, and SD WAN, DNS, Firewall related issues and support to employees and internal team globally.

• Network Security patching.

• Cisco / Juniper Firewall experience required

• Working closely with Cyber Security team to manage Security patches on allocated tasks

• Handling global Network plat form and available to work in Shits, if needed

• Provide technical overview of product architecture, functionality, system / data requirements, service delivery and integration with enterprise applications.

• Continuously develop and enhance knowledge, skills, and abilities to handle operating systems, networking infrastructure and products & services that BBOX supports.

• Provide timely resolution, track tickets in Service now, Update ticket status, resolution basis in BBOX SLA defined

• Hands on experience in Azure Networking

• Through knowledge of network protocols and multicast network

• Analysis and troubleshoot of incidents and escalation of events.

• Hands on experience in Cisco routers and firewall

• Hands on experience on Cisco, Juniper and dell switches.

• Preparation and review of various network reports

• Understanding of ITIL process

• Responsible for day to day smooth operations of the IT infrastructure

• Network diagram (PPT/Visio)

• Network monitoring tool (Solarwinds / IT360 / Manage Engine / Whatsup Gold)

• Inventory management

• Change management

• Firewall Rule Management

• DMZ Management

• RADIUS Server Management

• IPS Management

• Web Proxy Support

• Network/Datacenter Forecasting & Planning

Skill Set Required: (Mandate Skill Set)

• Should have hands-on experience of below protocols and features:

• OSI Layers, IPV4 (Subnetting), Static routing, OSPF, BGP, PPP, TCP/UDP, STP, Port channel, Port security, Port Span, Policy based routing, QOS, Multicasting, IGMP, PIM dense mode, PIM Sparse Mode, PIM SSM, Tacacs, Radius, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, IP SLA, GRE Tunnel, IP SEC tunnel, Wireless, SNMP, Access control list

• Should have worked on below products:

• Cisco ISR Router, Cisco, juniper and dell L2 and L3 Switches, Cisco / Meraki Access Points, Should have hands on WAN technology: P2P, STM, ISDN.SD WAN

• Should have knowledge on WAN technology: VSAT, MPLS

• Should have worked with monitoring tool: Solarwinds, Wireshark,Whatsup Gold
