Senior Software Engineer (4 to 6 Years Experience) We are looking for a strong Software Engineer who can lead module-level design and development, drive engineering excellence, and deliver scalable, production-grade solutions. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to proactively identify opportunities that improve business outcomes, productivity, and operational efficiency using modern engineering and AI-enabled practices. Key Responsibilities - Write high-quality, secure, efficient, and maintainable code following engineering standards - Lead design and development of assigned modules, services, and system components - Translate business and product requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions - Evaluate multiple technical approaches and drive solution decisions considering scalability, performance, cost, and maintainability trade-offs - Prepare and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents - Perform code, design, and test reviews to maintain engineering quality and consistency - Own end-to-end delivery of assigned modules/projects including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support - Mentor junior engineers and drive adherence to best engineering and architectural practices - Drive improvements in system performance, stability, monitoring, and observability - Work closely with Product, Operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth releases and operational continuity - Handle customer escalations, production issues, and live system support including detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Business Impact & Operational Excellence Expectations - Proactively identify and propose ideas that improve product capabilities, customer experience, or revenue opportunities - Engineers are encouraged to propose, prototype, and drive implementation of impactful technical and product improvements - Drive automation initiatives that improve engineering productivity, system reliability, and operational efficiency - Identify process improvement opportunities across development, deployment, monitoring, and support workflows - Take ownership of operational excellence initiatives such as performance optimization, cost optimization, system stability, and release quality improvements - Participate in technical and product discussions and contribute solution ideas aligned with business priorities - Demonstrate strong execution ownership from idea generation to implementation and measurable impact Required Skills Backend & Application Development - Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC - Experience developing scalable backend systems and distributed services - Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and system design fundamentals - Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP web services Database, Networking & Web Technologies - Strong experience with MySQL including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning - Hands-on experience with Apache HTTPD, Tomcat, and web service infrastructure - Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, and API integration patterns - Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/UDP Engineering Tools & Workplace - Version Control: Git - Code Quality & Testing: SonarQube, JUnit, JMeter - Operating Systems: Linux with production-level troubleshooting experience - Debugging & Analysis Tools: Wireshark or similar tools - Hands-on experience with AI-powered IDEs such as Cursor (mandatory) Process & Delivery - Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes - Strong code review and static analysis practices - Experience working in production-critical and high-availability systems - Ability to write clear and actionable RCA and technical We are currently i
