About the role
Be technically upgraded with the latest technology trends Implement technically best possible features with well-documented, test-driven, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards. Comfortable working on complex products, striving to understand end to end usage Use version control systems effectively, including an understanding of branching\merging. Seek and also perform code reviews targeting high quality. Analyze existing code and designs to maintain and enhance existing software applications. Debug applications, as needed, utilizing bug and enhancement tracking software and processes. Mentoring junior team members and helping them grow technically Some of the key requirements: 1. Senior developer with 6+ years of overall development experience. 2. Minimum 6+ years with the .NET Framework, specifically with C#. 3. Minimum 6+ years of experience in middle tier service-oriented applications. 4. Minimum 6+ years of experience with SQL Server. Database skills writing complex stored procedures, analysis of large data sets, profiling are must. Experience in Silverlight or HTML 5 UI development required. Experience in Big Data, Hadoop. Hands on with Amazon cloud services. Experience with AGILE and test-driven development processes. Experience with SOAP or REST service development and multi-threaded application strongly preferred. Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
