Network Engineer, Senior

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement cloud network architectures to support the company's hosted applications and services - Utilize automation tools to implement updates and modifications efficiently - Optimize network performance through routing, switching, and other traffic management strategies - Monitor network performance, capacity, and troubleshoot issues as they arise - Implement security measures and network access controls following industry standard best practices and compliance requirements - Regularly assess and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud network infrastructure using automation - Provide technical support and guidance for cloud networking-related issues to internal teams - Maintain detailed documentation of network diagrams, architecture, and standard operating procedures Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of proven experience in network engineering with a focus on cloud networking solutions, particularly in Azure & AWS environments - Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation - Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Python, Ansible, etc - Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices - Willingness to work flexible hours as required by business priorities and be available on a 24x7x365 basis for production impacting incidents or key customer events In addition, the company, Blackbaud, is dedicated to powering social impact through purpose-driven technology and responsible AI.
