Network Engineer, Senior B

Role Overview: As a Network Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for deploying, supporting, developing, and optimizing cloud-based network infrastructure. You are required to have a strong understanding of network principles, practical application of these principles, cloud services, security, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement cloud network architectures supporting the company's hosted applications and services - Utilize automation to implement updates and modifications to the network infrastructure - Optimize network performance through routing, switching, and other traffic management strategies - Monitor network performance, capacity, and troubleshoot any arising issues - Implement security measures and network access controls in compliance with industry standard best practices - Regularly assess and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud network infrastructure using automation - Provide technical support and guidance for cloud networking-related issues to internal teams - Maintain detailed documentation of network diagrams, architecture, and standard operating procedures Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in network engineering with a focus on cloud networking solutions (Azure & AWS) - Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation - Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Ansible) - Familiarity with cloud security principles and practices - Ability to work flexible hours as required by business priorities, available on a 24x7x365 basis when needed for production impacting incidents or key customer events About the Company: Blackbaud powers social impact through purpose-driven technology and responsible AI.
