As a Software Engineer at BlackRock, you will be part of the Aladdin Engineering group, working on BlackRock's investment operating system called Aladdin. Aladdin is a platform that combines risk analytics with portfolio management, trading, and operations tools to empower informed decision-making for users worldwide. In this role, you will focus on uplifting developer productivity, modernizing build systems, and driving cloud-native transformation within a complex, multi-language codebase. Key Responsibilities: - Work in a fast-paced and highly complex environment - Analyze multiple solutions and deploy technologies in a flexible way - Collaborate effectively with teammates - Learn new concepts quickly Qualifications: - B.E./ B.TECH./ MCA or any other relevant engineering degree from a reputed university - 9+ years of experience - Strong understanding of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and best engineering practices In addition to the above responsibilities and qualifications, you will need to have expertise in various skills and experience related to Build Systems & Developer Productivity, CI/CD & Release Engineering, Cloud-Native & Multi-Cloud, Strategic & Leadership, and Language & Ecosystem Expertise. Preferred experience in Trading/Financial Systems and AI Skills is also desirable.
