Magento Architect

You have over 8 years of experience in Magento development and architecting, specifically dealing with complex catalog/pricing structures and multi-channel support. You have successfully implemented at least 2 projects involving the construction of brand new sites from scratch. Your knowledge of Magento's architecture, design-related system configuration, and theming components is strong. Additionally, you have a solid background in the LAMP stack, MVC, and OOPS concepts. You are well-versed in relational databases, version control tools, and web services development. Your familiarity with different editions of Magento (Community/Enterprise) is commendable. Key Responsibilities: - Develop Magento Modules and Customizations, including Extension Development - Collaborate with third-party Magento extensions for enhanced functionalities - Integrate Magento's E-Commerce capabilities seamlessly with other backend systems - Customize Magento themes and ensure scalability of Magento systems - Offer solutions to complex technical problems proactively - Author and extend Magento extensions, customize front-end components, and work on live high volume stores - Deploy and optimize Magento on AWS and Linux platforms - Manage e-commerce data organization and relationships effectively, including store catalog and sales orders - Author JavaScript and utilize libraries like jQuery - Integrate web services (REST/SOAP) for enhanced functionality - Take personal responsibility for production-level code Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of Magento's code structure, extension architecture, theming hierarchy, and fallback components - Proficiency in customizing Magento's front-end components using layout XML, blocks, and templates - Experience in working with high volume stores and deploying Magento on AWS and Linux - In-depth knowledge of Magento's feature set and configuration - Competency in e-commerce data organization, relationships, and sales processes - Ability to author JavaScript and utilize jQuery - Proficiency in web services integrations, particularly REST/SOAP - Eagerness to take ownership of production-level code Please note that understanding of cloud concepts would be advantageous for this role.
