Guidewire Business Analyst

BlitzenX is looking for a strong, delivery-focused Guidewire Business Analyst with deep functional experience across Guidewire X-Centers PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter. This role is suited for professionals who understand Guidewire architecture, can translate business needs into precise interface requirements, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver production-grade integrations without excessive hand-holding. You will work with high-velocity delivery teams, own integration requirement streams end-to-end, and ensure alignment with Guidewire platform standards and P&C insurance workflows. Role Summary Serve as the primary Business Analyst for Guidewire integrations, responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting integration requirements between Guidewire applications and internal/external systems. Drive clarity across API, messaging, batch, and event-driven integrations while ensuring technical and functional alignment. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end requirement gathering for Guidewire integrations across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter. Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, interface contracts, and system interaction models. Create detailed data mappings, field-level transformation rules, and integration workflows. Work closely with Guidewire developers and integration architects on SOAP/REST services, messaging, and batch interfaces. Define and document request/response structures, payload formats, validation rules, and error handling scenarios. Collaborate with vendors and thirdparty system owners to align interface contracts and delivery timelines. Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and estimation activities for integration workstreams. Lead integration-focused UAT cycles, defect triage, and requirement clarifications. Analyze and support resolution of integration defects across SIT, UAT, and production environments. Ensure all integrations follow Guidewire best practices and enterprise architecture standards. Maintain traceability across requirements, interface specs, and delivered functionality. Technical & Functional Acumen Strong functional understanding of Guidewire integration patterns across X-Centers. Practical exposure to Guidewire data model, entities, and cross-system data flows. Working knowledge of: SOAP and REST APIs Messaging and eventbased integrations Batch and filebased interfaces Interface error handling and reconciliation flows Handson experience creating: Interface control documents (ICDs) API/interface specifications Ability to work effectively with developers on GOSUbased integrations and Guidewire plugins. Solid understanding of endtoend P&C insurance processes and system touchpoints. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Guidewire integration projects (implementation or large support programs). Functional exposure to at least one Guidewire X-Center; multicenter exposure is a strong advantage. Strong experience in API/interface documentation and data mapping. Proven ability to independently drive integration requirement streams. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. Strong analytical thinking and documentation discipline. Ability to work directly with technical teams and external vendors. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). Experience working in distributed delivery teams. Prior experience in largescale P&C transformation or integration programs.
