About the role
Role Summary We are seeking a highly accomplished Guidewire PolicyCenter Architect / Senior Developer to lead the design, configuration, and delivery of enterprise-scale PolicyCenter solutions for global Property Casualty (PC) insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in PolicyCenter Configuration, strong insurance domain knowledge, and proven experience driving successful Guidewire implementation, transformation, and modernization programs. This role requires a hands-on technical leader capable of translating complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Guidewire solutions while providing technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture, design, and development of Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration solutions aligned with business and enterprise architecture objectives. Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, and delivery teams to define and implement optimal PolicyCenter solutions. Drive end-to-end configuration activities across: Product Model Configuration PCF Configuration Data Model Extensions Business Rules Validation Rules Typelists Workflows Batch Processes Security Configuration Provide technical leadership throughout project delivery, ensuring adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles. Conduct solution reviews, code reviews, and technical design workshops to ensure quality and consistency. Lead impact assessments, technical estimations, and solution planning for enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives. Collaborate with integration, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery. Drive root-cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues while ensuring platform stability and performance. Support Guidewire version upgrades, cloud adoption initiatives, and enterprise modernization programs. Mentor developers and contribute to capability building across Guidewire delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications Guidewire ACE Certification and/or Guidewire Certified Professional Certification. Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP). Exposure to InsuranceSuite integrations, REST APIs, SOAP Services, Messaging Frameworks, and Event-Driven Architectures. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
