About the role
Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Guidewire ClaimCenter Configuration Developer to design, develop, customize, and support Guidewire ClaimCenter applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Guidewire configuration, Gosu development, business rules, UI customization, workflows, and integration with enterprise applications. The role involves collaborating with business analysts, QA teams, and architects to deliver high-quality solutions for Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims processing. Key Responsibilities : - Configure and customize Guidewire ClaimCenter based on business requirements. - Develop and maintain Guidewire configuration components including : 1. PCF (Page Configuration Files) 2. Data Model Extensions 3. Entity Extensions 4. Typelists 5. Product Model configuration (where applicable) - Develop business rules using Gosu. - Customize screens, widgets, and user interfaces using PCF. - Configure Activities, Workflows, Validation Rules, and Assignment Rules. - Create and maintain Batch Processes. - Develop and consume REST/SOAP web services. - Configure Messaging and Event-based integrations. - Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities. - Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning. - Prepare technical design and configuration documents. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful project delivery. Required Technical Skills : - Guidewire : Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire Studio, Guidewire Configuration, Gosu Programming, PCF Configuration, Data Model Extensions, Entity Extensions, Typelists, Workflows, Activities, Assignment Rules, Validation Rules, Batch Processes. - Programming : Gosu, Java, SQL. - Integration : REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, Messaging, Guidewire Integration Framework. - Database : Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL. - Version Control & DevOps : Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-8 years of IT experience. - 5+ years of Guidewire ClaimCenter configuration experience. - Strong knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter architecture. - Experience with Guidewire Studio and Gosu. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Strong debugging and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications : - Guidewire Certified ClaimCenter Developer. - Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform. - Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. - Exposure to Guidewire upgrades and cloud migration projects. Nice-to-Have Skills : - Guidewire Cloud, Kafka, Spring Boot, Microservices, OAuth 2, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, ELK Stack, Performance tuning, Automated testing (JUnit/Selenium). Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, team collaboration, attention to detail, adaptability in Agile environments, ownership and accountability. .
