About the role
As a Workday HR Systems Specialist at Bloom, you will be responsible for configuring, managing, and maintaining Bloom's HR systems, with a focus on Workday (HCM), Recruiting, Advance Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, and Talent Management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the technical aspects of Workday implementation, such as additional functionalities like Onboarding and Absence Management. - Designing and developing Workday reports and dashboards to meet HR and business analytics needs. - Supporting Workday semi-annual releases, including impact analysis, configuration updates, regression testing, and stakeholder communications. - Providing day-to-day systems support, troubleshooting data and systems issues, recommending solutions, and implementing enhancements and fixes following change control guidelines. - Managing the integration of the HCM application and reports with other business systems and vendors like ADP, Oracle, and Perks Providers. - Ensuring system controls and processes comply with internal and external audit requirements. - Researching and testing new functionality and features within Workday. - Creating detailed documentation of business processes and systems functionality, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to execute systems transactions/processes to support change management. - Collaborating with Global HR Operations, HR Business Partners, and Payroll & Benefits to define requirements, re-engineer processes, and implement functionality in Workday. - Ensuring data security and integrity within Workday through security role design, audits, controls, and monitoring, supporting internal and external audit activities. - Providing training, direction, and guidance to other team members in areas of Workday expertise. To excel in this role, you should have: - 8 13 years of hands-on Workday experience, involving configuration and support across multiple HCM modules. - Demonstrated experience leading Workday projects, including module implementations, redesigns, integrations, and large-scale enhancements.
