About the role
As an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager in Manufacturing Engineering at TADA (Sricity), Andhra Pradesh for Blue Star, you will be a key player in driving growth by developing new systems and processes for products, organizing and maintaining production lines, coordinating projects, and working collaboratively with various departments to ensure product quality and system requirements are met. Your role will also involve examining and procuring new equipment, managing budget aspects, and ensuring manufacturability of products at optimum productivity, quality, and safety norms. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new systems and processes for new products or existing ones. - Organize, plan, commission, and maintain production lines. - Coordinate projects and work with various departments to meet product and system requirements. - Manage budget aspects and recruitment & skill up-gradation of operators/engineers. - Procure new equipment at the best price and highest quality. - Make proposals and control capital budget. - Organize plant start-up and shut-down schedules for minimum loss of production time. - Coordinate with R&D department for manufacturability of products. - Analyze productivity parameters and initiate improvement programs. - Give presentations to managers and colleagues. - Attend training courses and conferences. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from a State/Govt. recognized University. - Exposure to SAP/ERP environment. - Knowledge of ISO standards and modern manufacturing/quality systems like TPM, Lean Mfg, Six Sigma. - Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes. - Awareness of health and safety issues. - Knowledge of cost-saving techniques and troubleshooting techniques. - Up-to-date knowledge of current trends in the manufacturing industry. - Direct skills in HVAC, Automobiles, Consumer Durables, Industrial Products, and Engineering Industry. In this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a medium/large Manufacturing Set-up in the above industries, demonstrating your expertise in driving growth and ensuring excellence in manufacturing processes.
