PHP Laravel Backend Developer Location: Kolkata (Work from Office) Job Type: Full-time About the Role Blue Waves Media is looking for a skilled PHP Laravel Backend Developer to build, maintain, and optimize scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience with Laravel and MySQL, along with a good understanding of REST APIs and modern development practices. Key Responsibilities - Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel. - Design and integrate RESTful APIs. - Build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. - Optimize database queries and application performance. - Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues. - Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code. - Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices. Requirements - 25 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development. - Strong knowledge of Core PHP, Laravel Framework, and MVC architecture. - Experience with MySQL and database optimization. - Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party API integration. - Familiarity with Git version control. - Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. - Knowledge of authentication, security, and application deployment. - Robust analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills - Experience with payment gateway integrations. - Knowledge of Redis, queues, caching, or AWS/cloud hosting. - Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
