Learns and adapts to applicable technologies, products, and tools. Develops relevant product and domain knowledge. Understands, follows, and employs the standards and procedures related to the JDA QA process. Works with QA architects in reviewing, defining, and standardizing QA processes. Contributes ideas on recent QA processes to the lead team. Understands requirements and test plans. Writes functional, installation, migration, and performance test cases and ensures coverage of RASSUI attributes. Owns modules of high complexity. Designs, develops, and maintains automation framework and ensures that it meets defined RASSUI standards. Writes, reviews, and executes batch and UI automation test scripts and ensures they meet defined RASSUI standards. Works on problems of highly complex scope and large size. Possesses knowledge of database architecture and data models used in the relevant product - Possesses knowledge of various platforms and deployment architectures. Possesses knowledge of more than one automation framework and architecture. Coordinates and drives the test case review process. Works with the development team to provide input to fix issues and possible solutions to problems. Plans system and regression testing. Collaborates with appropriate JDA resources on defects and timelines to ensure timely delivery of releases. Participates with the entire team in setting quality standards for a product. Drives the definition and implementation of metrics for quality measurements and creates the templates as required to capture the data. Suggest and implements process improvement plans, tracks their progress, and achieves objectives. Owns the responsibility of providing training, guidance, feedback, and coaching to testing team members. Plans for hardware and software requirements for test environment setups.
