Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, and documents related to wind projects. Review electrical SLD, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for electric systems. Develop technical specifications, RFPs, BOMs, and other engineering documents for wind projects. Identify potential wind energy sites and monitor wind mast installations and maintenance. Conduct site visits as needed and liaise with vendors and consultants for meteorological mast installation and energy yield due diligence. Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to wind energy. Perform other responsibilities as necessary to support the successful completion of projects. Review WTG & USS related layout, cable routing layout, equipment layout, earthing, lightning protection, etc., and design/revise equipment layouts, SLD/Schemes, general arrangements of WTG, USS, TL & PSS areas. Possess good knowledge of preparing quantity estimation and BOM, understanding and preparation of technical specifications, and reviewing tender specifications. Understand sizing/selection of WTG, converter, protection panel, transformer, MV/LV switchgear panel, cable, bus bar/duct, DG, UPS, etc., and calculate cable sizing, system fault current, power loss, earthing, lightning protection system, and lighting/illumination system. Understand manufacturers / vendors / subcontractors drawings & documentation and possess knowledge of wind energy principles, including turbine design, aerodynamics, and power generation. Be familiar with industry-specific software such as WindPRO or OpenWind for wind farm layout design and energy yield analysis. Be detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance with regulations and standards. Have knowledge of environmental impact assessment processes and environmental regulations related to wind energy projects. Possess good knowledge of data analytics tools such as Excel-based macros and Python. Demonstrate good communication and reporting skills. Be familiar with Wind Engineering standards and guidelines IS, IEC, and computer literate with good knowledge of MS-office, AutoCAD, and Google Earth. Job Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized college/university. 4-6 years of experience in wind electrical systems design (primary) and WRA (secondary). Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis and power systems. Experience with wind energy systems, including turbine design and power generation. Familiarity with industry-specific software such as WindPRO or OpenWind. Good communication and reporting skills. Knowledge of environmental impact assessment processes and environmental regulations related to wind energy projects.
