About the role
Age limit:20 to 29.: - System Management:Install, configure, and maintain backup software and hardware, such as Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas NetBackup. - Backup Operations:Create and manage backup jobs for various systems, ensuring they run on schedule and meet data retention policies. - Data Integrity:Monitor backup operations daily, verifying that data is securely copied and stored correctly. - Restoration and Recovery:Perform regular test restores and conduct disaster recovery drills to ensure that data can be recovered quickly and efficiently. - Troubleshooting:Identify and resolve issues with backup failures, system errors, or performance problems promptly. - Compliance:Ensure that backup procedures and data retention meet legal and regulatory compliance requirements. - Documentation:Develop and document backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and standard operating procedures. - Collaboration:Work with database administrators, system administrators, and other IT teams to coordinate and implement backup solutions. - Reporting:Provide regular reports to management on backup success rates, system performance, and any identified risks or issues.
