SOC Manager

Position: SOC Manager Location: BluSapphire | Reporting to: Director Operations Role Summary BluSapphire is expanding its Security Operations Center (SOC) and seeks an experienced, client-facing cybersecurity professional with a strong ownership mindset. The SOC Manager will lead end-to-end SOC operations, mentor analysts, manage critical incidents, and ensure 247 operational excellence. The role includes occasional overnight, weekend, and on-call responsibilities after the initial 60-day ramp-up period. Qualifications Education B.Tech / BE (Computers) / MCA Preferred Certifications CISSPGCIACCNAOSCPOSCE Experience 1012 years in Information Security / Cybersecurity 3+ years as a SOC Manager Key Skills Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Expertise in SIEM, EDR, DLP, IDS/IPS, CASB, IAM/PAM, vulnerability management, and security operations Threat hunting, incident response, malware analysis, forensics, and threat intelligence Knowledge of networking, endpoint security, cryptography, and security frameworks Scripting/automation and security tool tuning Core Responsibilities Lead and manage 247 SOC operations and shift coverage Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and alerts Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability remediation, and forensic analysis Manage and optimize SIEM and other security monitoring tools Handle critical/high-severity incidents and perform root cause analysis Provide technical leadership to L1/L2 analysts and mentor the SOC team Ensure KPI/SLA compliance, reporting, and runbook maintenance Drive continuous improvement, training, and team development aligned with OKRs.
