Your responsibilities will include: - Validating product functionality by collaborating with developers, architects, and Quality Assurance team members - Identifying end user scenarios, documenting test cases, and tracking discovered issues and defects - Contributing to product and process improvements and refining QA practices - Showcasing/demoing products to customers and stakeholders when required - Writing test automation scripts using automation framework for regression testing - Problem-solving, debugging issues, and automating manual assignments in Robot/SuperTest To excel in this role, you should possess the following skillset and experience: - 8+ years of experience in z/OS system QA role or Tech Services - Proficiency in z/OS technologies like JCL, SMP/E, REXX, VSAM, VSAM/RLS, and JES2 - Experience in QA methodology, writing clear test plans and test cases, and using automated testing tools - Familiarity with Agile development processes - Ability to document, troubleshoot issues and bugs, and excellent communication skills Nice to have skills that our team can help you develop include knowledge of job scheduling/workload automation products, SMF/RMF record types, ISPW/TOPAZ, and basic COBOL programming knowledge.
