About the role
About the program Cyber Physical Security System Management for Alzheimer's Disease is a two-month free internship program offered by BMEC Imaging Pvt Ltd to provide students with practical industry exposure in the research design development and validation of an intelligent wearable device for individuals with Alzheimer's disease. The internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industrial practice by integrating concepts from biomedical engineering embedded systems Internet of Things artificial intelligence cyber physical systems electronics data analytics and healthcare technology. Participants will work on real world healthcare applications that focus on improving patient safety continuous monitoring and assisted living through innovative engineering solutions. During the internship students will gain hands on experience in the complete product development lifecycle including problem identification requirement analysis system architecture hardware selection sensor interfacing embedded programming software development communication technologies prototype fabrication testing validation performance evaluation and technical documentation. Participants will learn how to integrate wearable sensors microcontrollers wireless communication modules and cloud-based platforms to develop secure and reliable healthcare monitoring systems. They will also explore technologies such as location tracking fall detection emergency alert generation physiological parameter monitoring activity recognition and remote patient monitoring while understanding the importance of cybersecurity privacy and secure data management in connected medical devices. The internship provides an opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced industry professionals and researchers using industry standard development practices engineering methodologies and quality processes. Students will enhance their technical competencies analytical thinking problem solving abilities teamwork communication skills and project management capabilities through collaborative project activities technical discussions and regular progress reviews. The program also introduces participants to medical device development practices prototype optimization system integration regulatory awareness and innovation driven product design.
