Technical Lead/Architect

As an AVP Regional Technical Architect at BNP Paribas Cardif, you will play a crucial role in defining, communicating, and validating technical architectures for new IT solutions within the Cardif Asia regional IT team. Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership to development and integration teams, defining standards and practices, and ensuring the consistency and sustainability of the Information System at both IT System and Application software levels. Responsibilities: Direct Responsibilities: - Contribute to impact analysis and studies on business needs and architecture enhancements - Help define non-functional requirements for the designed solution - Support project teams in designing IT solutions and new technical architectures - Make recommendations on technologies to use and identify interfaces between components - Conduct exploratory studies or prototypes to assess the feasibility of new IT solutions - Assess technical risks related to the implementation of solutions Govern And Control Architecture: - Organize and contribute to architecture and security committees - Monitor technical architecture requirements within project activities - Ensure the companys systems are secure and reliable - Draft technical specifications for functionalities and capabilities to be implemented Solution Implementation And Support: - Provide support to implement IT solutions and new technical architectures - Update procedures and instructions for operations - Analyze the current technology environment to identify deficiencies and recommend improvements - Identify and resolve the root cause of incidents Contributing Responsibilities: - Identify emerging technologies and contribute to technology watch studies - Contribute to the definition of target information system architecture in the 5-year Master plan - Define architecture frameworks and promote them - Validate technical architecture documentation Technical & Behavioral Competencies: Specific Qualifications: - Minimum 10 years of experience in IT development or system integration - Experience in software architecture design Technical Skills: - Architecture modeling tools (BizDesign, Archi, Abacus, Mega) - Architecture modeling language (Archimate, UML) - Architecture framework (TOGAF, Open Group) Behavioral Skills: - Analytical Ability - Ability to manage and facilitate meetings, seminars, committees, and training sessions Education Level: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent Location: Chennai You will be part of the global BNP Paribas Group, a leading bank in the European Union with operations in 65 countries and a workforce of nearly 185,000 employees.
