About the role
As a Back-End Developer Intern at our company in Hyderabad, you will be working on developing and maintaining robust RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express/Nest.js). You will have the opportunity to implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using OAuth 2.0 for various platforms such as Google, GitHub, and LinkedIn. Additionally, you will be responsible for integrating third-party APIs securely and managing API authentication. Working with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL will be part of your daily tasks, ensuring clean, scalable, and secure back-end code. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express/Nest.js) - Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using OAuth 2.0 (Google, GitHub, LinkedIn, etc.) - Integrate third-party APIs and manage API authentication securely - Work with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL - Write clean, scalable, and secure back-end code - Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and QA team Qualifications Required: - Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript - Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js or Nest.js - Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and access control mechanisms - Solid grasp of REST API design principles and security best practices - Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and basic schema design Nice to Have: - Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, or Insomnia - Experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows This internship is open to recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, or related fields who are available for a full-time position for 5 months in Hyderabad, working 6 days a week. By joining our team, you will gain real-world experience in building scalable back-end systems, exposure to enterprise-grade OAuth authentication and API development, mentorship from experienced engineers and product managers, and a certificate of completion. Additionally, you will receive a travel allowance and a monthly stipend of 10,000 with the opportunity for a full-time role based on performance and evaluation at the end of the internship.
