About the role
About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Work hands-on with our robot assembly building, testing, and improving how we put units together 2. Improve our assembly process: make it faster, more repeatable, and less dependent on any one person knowing how things work 3. Operate and maintain 3D printers; print parts for prototypes, fixtures, and production 4. Handle basic electronics work: soldering connectors and cable harnesses, swapping boards and modules, reworking joints cleanly 5. Diagnose faults across mechanical and electronic systems, use a multimeter, read a simple schematic or datasheet, and isolate the problem to a part or connection 6. Candidates with a background in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, or a related field are preferred. 2. Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in building and prototyping projects is required. 3. Familiarity with 3D printing as a practical tool is preferred. 4. Basic electronics knowledge is required, including experience with multimeters, soldering, reading datasheets, and understanding simple circuits. 5. Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential for daily updates, team communication, and explaining technical issues clearly. 6. Candidates should have a practical, problem-solving mindset with the ability to take ownership and independently resolve issues.
