Associate User Experience (UX) Designers

Role Overview: As an Associate User Experience (UX) Designer at Boeing India Private Limited, you will be part of the ecommerce team in Bangalore, India, focusing on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) IT organization. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop, maintain, and enhance ecommerce applications, ensuring usability and user-centered design principles are at the forefront of the process. Key Responsibilities: - Work on development and support of Boeing Global Service (BGS) ecommerce applications for Business Regional & General Aviation (BRGA) and Commercial Airline (CA) customers worldwide. - Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and support teams in India, the US, and other regions. - Conduct user research activities, define user requirements, user flows, and usability goals to make informed design decisions. - Translate user needs and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and design alternatives. - Conduct iterative usability tests to evaluate and refine designs based on feedback. - Create and maintain UX documentation, including design specifications and interaction guidelines. - Mentor junior resources, support development of internal competency, and provide recommendations on new technologies and best practices. - Learn and work on new tools, skills, and roles as required. - Travel domestically and internationally as needed. - Work in shift hours if required. Qualification Required: - Minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX design with an emphasis on ecommerce. - Strong foundation in user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology. - Understanding of HTML/CSS and other UI technologies. - Experience with Agile methodologies. - Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, InVision. - Knowledge of user interface design processes, particularly for web-based ecommerce applications. - Good storytelling competency to explain ideas effectively. - Ability to advocate for the customer in a corporate environment. - Experience with responsive and mobile design, along with prototyping skills. - Certification in UI/UX skillset and Aviation domain knowledge would be preferred.
