Embedded Software Developer

Tasks & Responsibilities: (Major task and role person will have to perform – list all the relevant points - - Software development within a team in a development project - Understand requirements, system and software architectures, interfaces, and software architecture quality attributes - Develop machine control software designs in alignment with the requirements and the software architecture in close collaboration with the software architect - Implement features and develop automated tests for your area of responsibility - Estimate and track the effort of your areas of responsibility Education & Training: (Basic & Professional)- Graduated Engineer / Bachelor / Master of Science / Master of Engineering, University of Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronical Engineering (or similar) Technical knowhow: (Mention the technology on which person must be experienced) Mandatory - - Experience in machine control software development (good mixture within the team) - Experienced in machine control software development approaches covering and improving the whole software development lifecycle. - Experienced in effort estimation and tracking in the area of responsibility - Experienced UML and State Modeling - Experience in the development of machine control software for embedded / mechatronic systems (worked in technical projects, ideally machine development projects consisting of mechanics, electronics, and real-time machine control software) Good to know - - Knowledge in control and feedback control techniques, Parallelism and Real-Time aspects, State Machines, Performance, Unit Testing, and Test Automation. - Have a good technology breadth: Embedded Computing, Availability and Fault Tolerance, Messaging, Networking, Parallelism / Multithreading / Multitasking , State Machines, Performance, Security, Unit Testing and Test Automation - "Operating System: Knowledge of a real-time operating system; - Programming: C (C++); Development Tools: Knowledge of an integrated development environment for ?Controller (like KEIL ?Vision or similar), version control, UML Design Tools (like Enterprise Architect or similar))" Soft Skills: (Inputs on soft skills required for the role, like team management, communication, customer management, etc) - International Collaboration - Good English (speaking and writing) - Communication: Be a team player with open and proactive communication with all stakeholders (locally and with headquarter), collaborate - Personal: Be self-organized, analytical and structured, quality-oriented, have a good grasp and quick learning aptitude, continuously improve yourself and your environment, be effective and efficient.
