Sr. Security Analyst

This is a Senior role in the Cyber Defense Center, where candidate is expected to build design the use-cases to detect potential threats or attempted breach.The professional to suggest security measures must design various strategies and defensive systems against intruders. Tasks Responsibilities: (Major task and role person will have to perform - list all the relevant points) Deep analysis and investigation of alerts from SIEM that are escalated from L1/L2 Proactive hunting within the existing SIEM System for threats and potential security incidentsAlerting to local security management in case of potential security incident detected by CDC and support during the root cause analysisCDC point of contact to support investigation and analysis of root causes during security incident responseResearch of reliable sources to identify new threats to G D, analysis and development of new threat detection capabilitiesDevelopment and implementation of new use cases to detect potential security incidents. Configuring Monitoring the Cloud Security Alerting (Azure Cloud Platform) Education Trainings: (Basic Professional)University degree in Computer Science. Information Systems or equivalentAdvanced certifications of the GIAC Cyber Defense Stream, MS AZ-500, or comparable trainings/certifications in the area of cyber defense Technical knowhow: (Mention the technology on which person must be experienced) MandatoryExpert in SIEM Technologies - Mainly SplunkExperience of implementing managing Splunk enterprise security (SIEM)Strong knowledge in Cloud Security technologies (M365 Azure)Strong expertise in Log Analytics threat AnalysisStrong knowledge in Endpoint and Network Protection technologies (Anti-Virus, Firewall, IDS, Proxy, WAF, Mail)Strong knowledge in Authentication and Authorization technologies Good to know Exposure of performing Risk Assessment business impact analysis Soft Skills: (Inputs on soft skills required for role, like team management, communication, customer management etc) Very Good Analytics conceptual skillsSolution oriented structured way of working.Curious and open to learn new thingsAbility to share knowledge within the team and support the development Professional interaction with customers intercultural experience is desirable Total Experience - 10 yearsRelevant Experience - 8 years
