About the role
Software Quality Engineer 2 You will: - Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the Software development lifecycle. - Work independently with minimal guidance from technical leadership. - Collaborate with other developers and quality engineers including design and test reviews. - Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria, be a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes. - Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA, including manual and automated functional and integration tests and the setup of production-like environments. - Document test cases, defects, and quality metrics to track software stability over time. - Research, validate, and recommend technology decisions for testing new features. Essential Requirements - 5+ Years of testing experience with software testing & automation framework. - Hands-on experience in web application testing and developing automated tests using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium & API Testing. - Execute testing as required & according to test plan and project goals. Communicate testing progress and results in a timely and accurate manner. - Review test cases and procedures and continually improve quality assurance practices to ensure coverage of and conformance to business requirements & guidelines. - Execute testing as required & according to test plan and project goals. Communicate testing progress and results in a timely and accurate manner. - Provide impact analysis and regression testing of software changes. - Thorough knowledge in Defect Lifecycle and Defect Management tools like JIRA, Zephyr etc. - Working experience using Linux/Unix & Windows environments. Thorough in Linux commands. - Robust problem-solving skills, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player with effective oral and written communication skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
